The Sycamore Academy follows the CAPS syllabus, individual attention is guaranteed as we have small classes and a limited number of children per classroom. We are a new privately owned primary school based in Amanzimtoti, a safe neighborhood for a school. With a holistic approach in mind we aim to develop each and every aspect of a child encouraging individual growth and independence hence the importance of incorporating sports (gymnastics and swimming) into the daily activities. The Sycamore Academy follows the CAPS syllabus ensuring that the students are equipped to tackle everyday hurdles that they may come across, individual attention is guaranteed as we have small classes and a limited number of children per classroom. The Sycamore Academy is privately owned as a need for primary schools in and around Amanzimtoti is on a rise and we have taken it upon ourselves to provide to the demands of the community to open up an educational institution that not only aims to develop them cognitively but to also pay attention to their emotional well-being of which is sometimes overlooked.
